"Joy to the World," the famous Christmas carol (Watts, Handel), arranged by Kathryn Carpenter. This arrangements has a contemporary feel, employing 6th intervals and also octaves in the left hand. The arrangement then turns to jazz, using jazz chords in the left hand (like comping - major 6th, major 7th, and 13th chords)! It would be (and has been) a good study Christmas piece for piano students that are exploring contemporary and jazz music!
