A faithful and authentic transcription of the fourth movement of Gustav Holst's "The Planets: Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity" for trombone choir with nothing left out except for some of the faster runs. Â It is arranged in a "double quartet" format to cover all of the various back and forth moments that occur in the piece. Â
The eight parts would ideally be performed with two players on each part, but they are still managable for smaller ensembles and would also be suitable for a Low Brass Ensemble that included Euphonium and/or Tuba.
First performed by the Brigham Young University Trombone Studio in Provo, UT.
