"Moon River" was composed by Henry Mancini (to lyrics by Johnny Mercer), and was famously performed by Audrey Hepburn in the film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961). Thanks to her performance, the song won an Academy Award (Best Original Song) as well as two Grammy Awards (Record of the Year and Song of the Year) in 1962.
It's certainly one of the most beautiful ballads out there, and it makes for a great piano cover.
