Based upon a traditional hymn tune in the public domain, "Morning Has Broken" is one of ten such original solo piano improvisations recorded and released by Dan Chadburn on his album, Held in the Light. Three additional improvisations on the album are original compositions. Recorded at Piano Haven in Sedona, Arizona in June, 2017, the album was awarded "Solo Piano Christian Album of the Year" by SoloPiano.com.
