Elgar wrote this as a gift to the love of his life, and it was largely this melody that convinced her to marry him. I hope you have the same success with it. Originally for violin and piano, it is here arranged for piano trio. I have playedthis with at weddings, parties, in bars, in retirement homes, and in my living room just for the fun of it.
