I combined these two melodies mainly because they're both in compound meter, which makes for seamless transitions. But then I realized that their respective messages are also compatible! Jesus is softly and tenderly calling us back to him, and, once we return to him, he becomes the joy of our desiring. Enjoy my piano medley arrangement of classic church hymn "Softly And Tenderly" combined with Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" Performance time 3’43”.
