This is a solo piano arrangement of the old plantation hymn "Were You There (When they crucified My Lord?)" which is traditionally performed on Good Friday but could be included in services at Easter during Holy Week and should be played reflectively, with feeling and expression. It would work well also as incidental music during worship and prayer services, offertories or any situation where devotional music is desired.
