Shotgun is a hugely popular song by the singer/songwriter George Ezra. It was released in the UK in 2018 and was certified as a quadruple platinum seller.
This arrangement is designed for teachers and music groups where there is a mixed level of experience amongst the players. The key and arrangement support pentatonic shapes recommended by many teachers in early-years learning. Higher positions are also introduced in an accessible way.
All parts are provided in both notes and TAB
All of the parts are suitable for early – intermediate players.
The technical ability required for each part is outlined below.
 Guitar 1 – has much of the melodic interest and some higher-position playing
Guitar 2 – also has melodic interest but mainly in lower areas
Guitar 3 – a more-simple part for less-experienced players
Guitar 4 – is an adaptation of the bass line. This part also has chord symbols for those who may wish to strum an improvised accompaniment
Fretboard diagrams are supplied using shapes which are easier for players to switch between.
